                                                                                                           Dispairing Roma Abaz struggles for the life of his daughter Samira who suffers from a lead poisoning and still is stuck in a contaminated refugee camp in Kosovo.
Even Sonja Winter, working in the 'Ausländerbehörde' either can´t or doesn´t want to help him - but his daughter's condition is getting worse and Abaz games for anything, now, to save Samira's life...

Orhan Sokolji dedicated his film to all Roma refugees who were placed in the lead contaminated refugee camps in Cesminluke/Cesmin Lug, Zhitkoc/Zitkovac and Kablare near Mitrovica in Kosovo between 1999 and 2006.

'Jenseits' is among the prize-winners of the shortfilm contest of 'FilmFestSpezial' 2008 under the auspices of Prime Minister
Christian Wulff.
