'La
Maledetta' shows the psycological decay of
Dr. Barbara Maldea who lives with her husband Jan and their son in a
kind of Idyll on the countryside.
But behind the surface of a pretended intact family-life, human desasters
of incredible depth open up.
In the depths
of her despair, Barbara finally goes to extremes and by that, entirely
changes into a 'Maledetta' - a damned, terrible woman, who with her
act of revenge and her own inability destroys everything, what made
her life.
'La
Maledetta' will be shown at the Shortfilm Corner,
Cannes in May 2008.
