A young woman walks all alone along fields, carrying a suitase, deeply
in thoughts.
She is uprooted, alone with her longings, her struggling
for being different, for entirety, with budding doubts
and inner conflicts, until she almost gets lost in the thick
branches of the woods.
Her destiny is mingled in a peculiar way with the world
of the devil and the swan...
The experimental shortfilm 'The Devil and the Swan' is based on the
motiv of Ophelia and tells the life´s journey
of a young woman, her metamorphosis and the struggling fragmented body,
persuing recomposition by using pixilation- and stop-motion techniques.
